Mum was just the best. I know a lot of people use that phrase, but she really was.
Her zest for life was infectious. She threw herself into everything she did.
Whether it was bringing up her 3 younger sisters when her own mum died when she was just 13 years old. Or being the most terrific friend, doctor, auntie, basketballer, tap dancer, daughter in law, drinking partner, organiser, sister in law, dance mum, PTA member, grandmother, mother in law, and of course, mother. I know I will never meet a stronger woman.
Her smile was the most beautiful smile, even when she wasn’t very well. Her laugh was so naughty. Her energy was extraordinary. I will miss her so very much but I will live my life to the full, just as she showed me. I will cherish the most incredible memories. My girls will always know the Wiggy Way.
I am so lucky to be able to call her my mum. I will love her forever.
She can rest now. That was the one and only thing she couldn’t do very well!
